When an animal gets rescued, that is the merely an early step in the road to recovery. The animal put heal in many cases, and in all cases they must learn to trust and love humans again.
The hardest part remains finding a forever home, where it can become part of the family and be loved unconditionally.
When this three-month-old pit bull puppy was removed from a home with deplorable living standards, he was riddled with mange and was very weak. Joey Wagner, who created a nonprofit animal rescue organization in Nova Scotia, made the right call to get this puppy some much needed attention.
The puppy, named Mojo, began making slow but steady steps towards recovery. Adoption requests for him were relentless, but the center could not consider regular adoptions because of his poor condition.
But on the day he was finally well enough to leave the vet, Joey returned with a fantastic surprise: he decided to adopt Mojo himself! Check out the video below to see Mojo’s priceless reaction!
